I have used these test sheets in my classroom all year when we do spelling tests. It makes it much easier to read and it doesn’t waste a full sheet of paper since I can get two tests on one full sheet (I just slice the paper down the middle). This especially helps the younger students use handwriting lines. This will be included in our Spelling unit that will be released soon.

It’s exciting to see how much the Teachers Pay Teachers store has grown since then. At the time of this update, we have more than 1000 resources available! I’m still excited every time I see a new product listing, and I love getting reviews of how much these resources help other teachers. The products have definitely grown from the Spelling Test Papers. (Not my best product, but I had to learn how to get things uploaded. I’ll be honest, I used these all the time when I was in the classroom since we were still required to have weekly spelling tests.) I have a variety of products for a variety of uses. I started focusing on early elementary since that was my area of expertise at the time, but I have branched out to include resources that can be used in online classes (a huge need during the pandemic). I post resources I use in my own online classes and things that other teachers have requested. I’m excited to see how things will have changed by the time I do another update. I was tempted to archive this page as it’s not super helpful to my SEO, but I think it’s an important part of the history of My Bilingual Life. Sometimes, it’s important to look back at where we started to get a clearer view of where we want to be in the future. I can’t wait to see what the TPT Store will look like in the future.
