Definite and Indefinite Articles in Spanish

Articles, according to Grammarly, are the words that define a noun as specific or unspecific.  In English, the definite article is the, and the indefinite articles are a/an/some.  We use these words everyday, but we sometimes don’t know their function in a sentence.

In Spanish the articles are a bit different.  There is both a singular and plural form as well as a masculine and feminine form.
